Music of....what the hell was the name of that Band. they only did one Album worth a crap, Worlds Apart...back in the bad old days of Duran Duran and Flock of Seagulls.....Saga! that's it the Bands name was Saga!
Damn Lenord! When I first saw the thumbnail of this, I said how the heck did he do this in MB3D! Then I saw it was Apophysis and said how the heck did he do this in Apo! Great job man! I guess I should study some of the tutorials on Apo out there! Apo was the first IFS program I used! Still love it!
The nonlinear functions of Apo Flames are very apealing. The translucent effects are great too, effects of gradient and light rather than a seperate render like MB3D. I love MB3D but was getting burned out on it so going back to Apo is just what I needed...A change is as good as a Rest.
I agree 100%! Apo is great because you have 100's of gradients, plug-ins & scripts to choose from. Used to love Incendia, but then found out I really didn't like "FORMS" per se! Apo and MB3D are still my fav's, Incendia is maybe 3 or 4!
Wow, that sounds fascinating, you ever been to South Africa? I don't know if you gathered, that I'm also Zkywalker on Renderosity. I had an old profile there, so did not want to change everything. I hope you don't mind me chatting to you... do you have a pic of yourself so I can see who I'm talking to.
I made the Rendo connection from the user name. I have never been to South Africa but in the mid to late 80s I worked all across Africa as a Systems Engineer on a Seismic Exploration Crew(Oil Exploration financed by the World Bank) Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, The Gambia, Benin and the Island of Madagascar. Enjoyed every minute of it, fell in love with Africa and it's peoples. I stay away from Cameras, in front of or behind the Lens, one of the very few Pics of me that's not on my Drivers Liscense or Passport is in the Team Photos on Renderosity(top of page, point to About us, click on Renderosity Team) I'm in Forum Moderators, Pic taken in Nepal, 5 Km from the Indian border in 89/90.
